About me
Arwa Alsamarae is an ophthalmologist and writer living in the North Bay. Her work has been featured in MIZNA, the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, and Palette poetry among others. She is co-founder of the Samar Reading Series, a recurrent literary event in San Francisco featuring writers from the SWANA region and their friends.
