About me
Kristen Lynn Zimmerman is an author and illustrator of work rooted in the magic - and messiness - of being human. She create comics, graphic novels, and visual stories that explore chosen family and how to restore our sense of belonging even after great ruptures. She lives in Oakland with her fabulous, intergenerational chosen family and teaches in the Art and Design Department at Cal State East Bay.
